FOREST PAVILION RETREAT
NATURAL. TIMELESS. TRANSFORMATIVE.
A contemporary forest retreat where architecture, water, stone and fire come together to create a deeply immersive experience.
Designed as a sequence of quiet moments, the landscape invites you to slow down, reconnect with nature and experience the changing atmosphere of the forest.
THE CONCEPT
ARCHITECTURE WITHIN THE FOREST
The pavilion is conceived as a quiet architectural presence within the surrounding woodland.
Rather than dominating the landscape, the structure frames it — opening views toward water, stone, vegetation and the changing light of the forest.
Natural materials, restrained geometry and warm illumination create a seamless connection between architecture and nature.
Every element is designed to feel timeless, tactile and deeply connected to its surroundings.

TRHEE MOMENTS
1 - REFLECTION MOMENT

A sequence of stone stepping platforms crosses the water toward the pavilion.
The reflections of trees, light and architecture transform throughout the day, creating a constantly changing visual experience.
Water becomes a moment of pause — calm, reflective and deeply connected to the forest.
2 - FIRE CIRCLE

A secluded fire circle creates a place for gathering, contemplation and connection.
Surrounded by natural stone and woodland vegetation, fire becomes the centre of a slower evening experience.
Warm light contrasts with the darkness of the forest, creating intimacy and a sense of belonging.
3 - FOREST WATER DETAIL

Water continues through the landscape as a natural thread.
Small cascades move between stone formations and ferns, creating sound, movement and continuity throughout the garden.
The result is a landscape that feels alive — shaped by water, stone, vegetation and time.
