CLIFFSIDE WATERFALL
FROM ARRIVAL TO IMMERSION.
EXPERIENCE
The landscape is designed as a gradual sensory sequence.
The visitor first encounters the texture and mass of the stone, then begins to hear the movement of water before fully discovering the waterfall.
As the pathway descends through the terraces, reflecting pools open the visual field and create moments of pause.
At the centre, the waterfall becomes an immersive focal point — experienced simultaneously through sight, sound, reflection and movement.
After sunset, the atmosphere changes completely. Warm light reveals the rock formations and transforms the falling water into a luminous vertical composition.
Cliffside Waterfall is not simply a garden with water. It is a landscape experience built around the relationship between rock, water, light and emotion.
THE CONCEPT
A WATERFALL CARVED INTO THE LANDSCAPE.
Cliffside Waterfall transforms a natural rock formation into an immersive architectural landscape where water becomes the central element.
The project is conceived as a sequence of terraces, pools and pathways carved into the terrain, allowing the waterfall to reveal itself progressively through framed views and changing levels.
Rather than treating water as a decorative feature, the design makes it the architectural and emotional core of the garden. The cascade introduces movement, sound and reflections, while the surrounding stone establishes permanence and connection with the landscape.
Warm integrated lighting reveals the mineral textures after sunset, transforming the waterfall into a luminous vertical element and extending its presence across the reflecting pools.
The result is a landscape experience where rock, water, vegetation, architecture and light are composed as one continuous environment.

TRHEE MOMENTS
1 - ENTRANCE MOMENT

DRAMATIC APPROACH CARVED INTO THE ROCK.
The journey begins along a carefully framed pathway embedded within the natural terrain.
Stone walls, vegetation and glimpses of flowing water gradually reveal the waterfall ahead, creating anticipation and a strong sense of arrival.
Integrated lighting emphasizes the textures of the rock and guides movement through the landscape, preparing the visitor for the central experience.
2 - SCULPTURAL FOCUS

THE HEART OF THE PROJECT.
The waterfall becomes the dominant focal point of the garden.
A dramatic vertical cascade descends through the rock formation into a calm reflecting pool, creating a powerful contrast between movement and stillness.
The surrounding terraces, vegetation and architecture frame the waterfall from multiple perspectives, transforming it into an immersive natural theatre where water, stone and landscape exist in perfect balance.
3 - STONE & SCULPTURE DETAILS

MATERIAL, TEXTURE AND MOVEMENT.
At close range, the project reveals its most tactile character.
The raw texture of the dark stone contrasts with the fluid movement of cascading water, while warm integrated lighting emphasizes every surface and reflection.
The detail expresses the fundamental language of the project: natural materials, controlled geometry and the continuous movement of water.
